Catching up. Now it's time for the weekend.

Welp, I decided to stay on top and post another blog this week. Monday was a friends birthday so, in order to celebrate, we all decided to try a zumba class. The first month of this new class was free so we figured why not.

Let me preface with saying I've never done a zumba class, BUT luckily it was free. I love latin music and I have seen one of the classes taught before when I lived in Savannah. I really thought I'd enjoy it but, quite frankly, I hated it. My friend who had done zumba before said the instructor sucked. She didn't teach us any moves just dove right in, the moves hardly repeated, and she didn't hold a count. For me it was really hard to keep up. Then on top of that I felt like it was almost a hip-hop dance class. So much body rolling and crap - I mean I don't do that. Literally by the end of it I think I still could have worked out all over again. I wasn't even that sweaty or tired. So.. with that being said. I'll pass on the rest of em, even though they're free.

Tuesday wasn't exciting really. I bought some crap on amazon, did some homework, and worked out. All the usual stuffs. Super exciting I know right? I even squeezed in some ball-tossing outside with Kaela.

She loves to play outside. She needs to play and get some of her extra energy out.

Wednesday I did the gym thing and then that night I went out to get Mexican with 3 friends. The restaurant was about 20 minutes away and the food was actually pretty good I thought. Plus- I loved my strawberry margarita.

Our friends, Jesse and Will got the bigger ones. 1L of Margarita.
mine was the baby, only .6L :D Super yummy tho!

BUT holy crap there were SOOOOO  MANY BEES! We sat on the patio because there wasn't AC inside but that was a horrible life choice. Literally the whole time there were at least 4 bees flying around our table and landing in our food/margaritas. No fun. It was literally the most stressful dinner ever. I couldn't relax and enjoy myself because the bees were everywhere. Some other guy there said they were sweat bees and wouldn't sting us but like wtf WHO CARES. I HATE BEES. I CAN'T RELAX AROUND THEM.

Then yesterday, Thursday, I worked out, did some more homework, and gave Kaela a bath. She behaves so good in the bathtub.

such a wet rat.
Then, around 1pm me and a new friend I made, Joelle, went and painted some pottery. (She and I live in buildings near each other and met outside with our doggies. She has a super adorable dalmatian.) But, as far as the pottery we painted, we went over to the arts & crafts store here on post. I had started a doggie cookie jar back in February and super needed to finish it. So yesterday we painted for a couple hours and I finished my jar and she finished an owl piggy bank for the baby boy she's expecting. I can't wait to see what they look like once they're fired. After our painting extravaganza we field tripped to Globus. She had never been so we walked around and bought some wine, cheese and, of course, some chocolate. It was a good day. Then, that evening, I took a bottle of wine over to a friends house and she cooked dinner for me and our other girlfriend.

So flipping yummy. Caprese chicken, some zucchini, and brown rice. A very
delicious dinner indeed.
It was a good dinner. Then afterwards I went home and continued to finish the first episode of the new tv show I started. My dad and Rob told me to start it and it's super good. It's called Homeland. Definitely a keeper and I recommend it.

Now I have a test I need to finish for one of my classes, run to the commissary, clean, and check the mail. Busy ish afternoon.

  1. Busy girl. Good that you have so much to do - helps make the time go by faster. And Kaela keeps you occupied too. Boy is she ever tall. Her legs go on and on. She needs her own couch! I love those ears. More later hopefully. G'ma
