Firstly, the day trip to Amsterdam. Me and 4 other people drove to Amsterdam, which is about 4 hours away, for a Saturday day trip. We had a great time. We explored the city a bit because it was three of the four peoples first time in Amsterdam. We also ate lots of yummy food and even went on a boat tour. All in all it was a lot of fun BUT- never a day trip again. SO MUCH TIME IN THE CAR. = no bueno.
my FAVORITE crepe place. |
Hells. Yes. |
our boat tour company! |
"LOVE ME" I saw this while on our boat tour. |
and the condomerie store. condom art. love it. lol |
this was the train station. we rode in between where we parked the car and the city center. |
I am Amsterdam. This sign was near the stop where we parked the car. WAY better photo op than the one in the city center >> no crowd. :D |
In addition to some pottery relaxation I've been working out like crazy! Patty and I started watching what we eat and working out daily on July 6th. We're really holding true and just started switching up our routines Weights weights weights. I swear I'm sore in places I didn't know existed everyday! I love it! I can already see differences and have fit into my first pair of smaller jeans! I'm going to surprise everyone with the changes so you keep an eye out and just remember what I USED to look like. I'm taking progress pictures so, once I'm there, I'll share them :D
PLUS. I am still volunteering with ACS and this month started officially working with the BCSC. I am so happy to stay busy and help with both organizations! I am the marketing specialist volunteer at ACS and the media and publicity chairperson with the BCSC. Even though I am not getting paid I love the experience and I know both will help me greatly. BUT - keep your fingers crossed that I start working a job here soon :D
AND I ordered a cabinet for our bathroom and it arrived!! So happy!
As far as my rehab project- It is still a slow work in progress. I am waiting on some newspapers from the states soooo- once its done I'll post pictures :D
Tonight I am getting ready to go to a festival here in Baumholder. More pictures will happen and I will start posting more tomorrow!
Good to know you are still blogging - sad that you could not be in Amsterdam overnight, such a lovely city with so much to offer.
ReplyDeleteThe new cabinet is a winner- did you have to put it together, great fit.
Keep up the workouts and healthy eating. You are forever my pretty girl.
Love you- Mom
